Production: Color ads should be 133/150 line screen - B/W at 90/120. Advertisers shall furnish fully assembled ads in electronic format. Four-color density not to exceed 280%. Prefer ESP or Tiff files. 4-color advertisers must provide a full-color proof made directly from the electronic file furnished. Proof should show register marks for all four sides. Two-page spread ads should clearly identify fold marks.
Inserts &
BRC Mail: BRC advertisers shall furnish fully assembled file in electronic format. The advertiser holds full responsibility for adherence to postal service regulations, postal codes, and bar code positioning. Pricing includes printing and binding. No bulk inserts accepted.
Positioning: All ads are positioned at the publisher's discretion. Additional charges apply for premium placement. Premium placement should be requested along with insertion order. 2nd, 3rd covers, add 10% - 4th cover add 20%. Advertisers with on-page coupons are not eligible for covers and certain page positions.
Commission
Discounts: Recognized advertising agencies are eligible to receive 15% of gross billings provided account is paid within 30 days of invoice date. Non-commissionable items include alterations and mechanical charges, inserts, BRCs, binding and reprints. Multiple insertions and frequency discounts are negotiable.
Terms: Net 30 with pre-credit approval. Payment required with insertion if credit has not been established prior to issue closing date. A 1.5% monthly service charge (18% annually) will apply to all items not collected within 30 days of invoice date. Advertiser and advertising agency are duly and equally responsible for payment. No cancellations accepted after closing date for space reservation.
