CPG Publications is the sole publisher of CareerFOCUS, College PreView,
DirectAIM, and First Opportunity magazines. A division of CPG
Communications Corporation, CPG Publications owns all copyrights of
editorial and graphics published within the pages of its magazines. CPG
reserves the right to require compliance with the following:
- The publisher reserves the right to refuse any ad that conflicts with the philosophy of the magazine.
- The Publisher shall have the right to hold advertisers and/or their advertising agencies jointly and severally liable for such monies as are due and payable to the Publisher for advertising that advertiser or its agent ordered and advertising that is published. The agency warrants by submitting the insertion order that it and the advertiser have accepted this responsibility.
- The Publisher will not be bound by conditions, printed or otherwise, on insertion order contracts, order blanks or instructions when such conditions conflict with its policies.
- Position specifications stipulated on insertion orders will be treated as request only and will not binding on the publication. No allowances will be granted if position requests are not met - except in the case of premium pages which will have an additional charge.
- Advertiser and advertising agency assume joint liability for all content (including text and illustrations) of advertisements printed. Both also assume responsibility for any claims arising there-from made against the Publisher, and agree to indemnify the Publisher, its employees, agents and subcontractors against any expense or loss suffered by reason of such claims.
- All ads must be clearly and prominently identified by trademark and/or signature of the advertiser.
- Key-code numbers are the sole responsibility of the advertiser. No rebate allowance for errors due to insertion of incorrect key numbers.
- Cancellations or changes in orders are not accepted after closing date. If advertiser chooses to cancel after the closing date, they shall be fully liable for full payment of the cost of the ad space ordered.
- Rates and contract conditions are subject to change without notice.
- Publisher reserves the right in its sole discretion to discontinue publication at any time with or without notice, or to defer or cancel printing, publication or circulation of any issue, and shall not be liable to any failure to print, publish, or circulate all or any portion of any issue or of the tendered advertising because of labor disputes, errors or omissions, or circumstances beyond its control. Publisher's sole obligation as to any failure or default on its part shall be limited to a refund of its charges which may have been paid to it or, as its option, to publish the tendered advertising in the next available issue.
